A sight glass is used to observe the state and/ or level of the refrigerant in a refrigeration system (refrigerator or air conditioner).
Description
A sight glass is used to inspect the condition of refrigerant fluid in a refrigeration system.
It allows for the determination of the state of refrigerant charge (whether its below or within the required amount)
It is also used to detect restrictions within the system.
